In 2025, we completed the complex transport and positioning of the decommissioned Hellenic Navy submarine Proteus S-113, weighing 880 tons. The operation required a combination of floating cranes, travel lift systems, and SPMTs to safely move the vessel from a naval dry dock to a floating dock and subsequently onto a dedicated onshore foundation.Prior to execution, our Engineering Division developed the detailed lifting and support plan, addressing all structural, stability, and interface challenges. 

The submarine now stands as a centerpiece at the Floisvos Naval Museum, serving as a permanent symbol of naval heritage.

After a collision involving a motor yacht caused structural damage to a submersible bridge at the Corinth Canal, we were assigned to remove, repair, and reinstall the affected structure. The bridge was carefully lifted using a heavy-duty floating crane, transported to our facilities for restoration, and subsequently returned to full operational status at its original location.

Our team managed the transport and launching of two newly built Fast Attack Craft (FAC) vessels, each weighing 560 tons. The vessels were transferred using Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and loaded onto a floating dock. Once positioned, the dock was submerged to carefully launch the vessels into the sea. The project was executed with high precision and strict adherence to naval construction standards.

Following a mechanical failure on the bulk carrier Levantes, we undertook the full transshipment of its 66,024 metric tons of wheat cargo to the receiving vessel Bravery. The transfer was executed over 14 consecutive days on a 24/7 schedule using two floating cranes equipped with hydraulic grabs. The operation demanded precise coordination and uninterrupted workflow to safeguard both cargo integrity and maritime logistics continuity.

We executed the removal and repositioning of a 526-ton MacGregor crane aboard a cable-laying vessel. The operation involved detaching the crane from its original location and securing it in a new position on the vessel’s deck. Due to the crane’s massive weight, the procedure required meticulous planning, structural assessment, and specialized handling to ensure complete operational safety throughout the project.

Our team successfully completed the deep-sea recovery of an F-16 Block 52 fighter jet that had crashed south of Crete due to mechanical failure. The aircraft had sunk to a depth of 967 meters and was retrieved using advanced ROV systems and heavy-lift equipment. 

Ahead of the operation, our Engineering Division undertook extensive preparation and technical planning to define the recovery approach, evaluate equipment parameters, and ensure safe execution. The jet was eventually hoisted to the surface in near-intact condition—marking a historic milestone, as it was the first recovery of its kind from such depth.
