Project Category

As part of marine infrastructure development in Muruskva, Croatia, the project encompassed a sequence of specialised construction activities carried out with precision and technical care. The works commenced with the formation of an underwater embankment, followed by the construction of a stable foundation layer. A rip-rap filter layer was then installed to provide internal filtration and prevent soil erosion, over which an armour layer was placed to reinforce the structure against hydraulic forces. Toe protection was added at the base of the quay wall to further enhance its resistance to scouring and displacement.

Subsequently, the transportation and accurate placement of precast concrete blocks was undertaken to form the core structure of the quay wall. Preloading operations were also carried out to control settlement and ensure long-term structural stability.

  • Establishment of the Foundation Layer
  • Installation of the Rip-rap Filter Layer
