Project Category

As part of the wider upgrade of a high-profile marina facility, the project included the construction of a 470-meter breakwater to protect the basin from wave action and enhance safety for moored vessels. In addition, 450 meters of new quay walls were built, increasing berthing capacity and improving vessel accommodation standards. To support the new marine infrastructure, approximately 125,000 cubic meters of seabed material were excavated, ensuring the required depths and a stable foundation. The works required the mobilisation of a large number of floating units, along with the execution of demanding maritime transport operations for the delivery of construction materials to the site.
