The project involved the construction of two bulk handling berths, No. 10 and No. 11, featuring a 600-meter gravity quay wall. The scope included the installation of 3,000 precast concrete blocks that formed the main structural elements of the quay.
Extensive seabed excavation and underwater embankment formation were carried out to provide a stable foundation for the berths. Additionally, a toe protection layer was constructed to safeguard the structure against erosion.
